Membership terms
Online sales are not yet open. These proposed terms describe the membership being prepared for launch.
Your membership
The Care Business Toolkit provides one care business with an account for its personalised policies, forms, available learning, community, planning, business packs and opportunities tools. Only lessons marked available can be watched. Planned content is not a promise of a delivery date.
Price and annual commitment
Choose £99 per month in 12 monthly instalments (£1,188 for the year), or £990 paid upfront for the year. Both options are annual subscriptions, not lifetime access or a rolling monthly membership. VAT is added where applicable and shown before payment.
Renewal and ending your membership
Your membership renews for a further 12 months at the end of each annual term. You can turn off annual renewal in Membership & billing before renewal. Access then ends at the annual term boundary. Monthly instalments remain payable until the end of that term. Any proposed price change must be communicated before renewal so you can choose whether to continue.
Payments and access
Stripe processes subscription payments. Access starts after the payment is verified. An overdue, unpaid or cancelled membership may restrict portal access. You can still sign in to manage membership and see billing information. Turning off renewal does not delete your saved work. Download any documents you need while your membership is active.
Support included
The membership includes portal help and up to two short advisory enquiries per calendar month, with a response target of three working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). Each enquiry should cover one focused question. Follow-up within the same enquiry is included; new substantive questions count separately. Unused enquiries do not roll over.
Full document reviews, complete CQC applications, mock interviews, inspections, audit visits, tender writing, and ongoing business consultancy are separately scoped and priced. Specialist legal, tax and regulated immigration advice must be obtained from an appropriately qualified adviser. Emergency or safeguarding responses remain the provider’s responsibility.
Using the documents and tools
Review and approve policy wording, local arrangements, business details and downloaded forms before use. Tools support preparation and planning; they do not guarantee CQC registration, a rating, a contract, referrals, revenue or profitability. Use current authoritative guidance and competent advice where needed.
Your account and information
You must be authorised to act for the business, keep account access secure, and avoid entering service-user or staff records. Business information and account data are handled as described in our privacy information. The membership is for your business’s own use; resale or redistribution of the shared template library is not included.
Billing problems and refunds
If a payment appears incorrect or you cannot access a purchased service, contact us promptly so we can investigate. Refunds and any applicable cancellation rights must be assessed against the circumstances and relevant law. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
